Feau’s Ride — September 26, 2026
A 130 km early-autumn gravel ride through the Ottawa Valley with coffee, beer, good times, and good people.
Unsupported and unsanctioned.
Be prepared. Be cool. Ride your bike.
What is Feau’s?
Feau’s is an early-autumn gravel ride through the Ottawa Valley built around light gravel, rough pavement, coffee, local beer, and a long day out with friends.
The main route is approximately 135 km and is best suited to riders who are comfortable with mixed surfaces, open roads, and a steady group pace. The route has been ridden on 25 mm tires, but 32–40 mm tires are strongly recommended for comfort and safety.
This is an unsupported and unsanctioned ride. All roads are open to vehicular traffic and the public at large. Anyone riding this route as a group or individually does so at their own risk and acknowledges the inherent risks associated with cycling.
Feau’s has five planned stops over 135 km - Skylark cafe in Carp, Equator Coffee in Almonte, Braumeister Brewing Co. in Carleton Place, Ashton Brewing Company in Ashton, and a new ending at Brews and Blues in Stittsville! All stops accept contactless credit cards as methods of payment.
Our expected pace for Feau’s is approximately 25-27km/h.
This is the bailout option. If you’ve bitten off more than you can chew after you get to Almonte (hey, it happens!), you can take this route from Almonte and enjoy the relaxing Ottawa Valley Recreational Trail before meeting up with the group at Braumeister, and finishing the ride down the Trans Canada Trail.
When is Feau’s?
The 2026 Feau’s Grand Départ takes place at 9:00am on Saturday, September 26, 2026. Coffee and croissants are available from 8:15 am.
The first stop of Feau’s is at Skylark, which will be approximately kilometre 25 and around 10am. Our first brewery stop is at Braumeister at where we expect to arrive around 2pm.
Is there a jersey?

Pricing is expected to be about $110 each, taxes and shipping included.
Parking for Feau's
There is plenty of street parking available on nearby streets.
Either way, please plan ahead in case you decide to have a beer. Cars are welcome to be left overnight, ride shares typically take bikes these days, and I’m happy to help coordinate vehicle returns on Sunday. Be smart and be safe!
What should I bring?
This is an unsupported ride. Bring enough food, water, tools, and friends to get yourself through the day.
Recommended:
Snacks for 4–6 hours, two bottles or hydration pack, spare tubes/plugs, pump or CO₂, multitool, phone, credit card, lights, and weather-appropriate layers.
There are no planned food or water stops for roughly 40 km after Almonte.
